Red Paddle Co. 2021 10’8” Ride MSL Stand Up Paddle Board
Larger riders should look for a board with more stability, which is where the 10’8” Ride comes in.
It has all the same qualities as the 9’8” and the 10’6” Ride Boards, but it’s two inches wider at 34”/864mm and has an extra 15 litres of volume, creating a more stable ride. It’s also 4.7”/120mm thick, which means you get greater stiffness at lower pressure. In fact, it’s more than 40 percent stiffer than a standard 4”/100mm board at the same pressure. The rounded tail makes the board really manoeuvrable when you get your weight back and can be a great way to have your first SUP surfing experience.
You can easily take a small passenger on board, which is why it’s a hit with family paddlers and those with furry friends. Or with our 6 point cargo tie-down system you can easily carry a whole heap of gear with you. Supplied with our industry leading Titan pump you can inflate your board in half the time with half the effort and once you are finished paddling the board packs down neatly to fit into our all terrain backpack making transportation and storage easy.
The Red embossed deck pad offers comfort and grip and a diamond cut rear section provides even greater grip and stability when performing step back turns or during occasional use in the surf.

MSL Fusion is recognised as the industry’s leading construction process and is exclusive to Red Paddle Co. We are the only inflatable brand in the world that produces our boards in our own, private facility meaning no other board comes close. Here’s why…
The difference is in the detail. By looking at all of the individual elements of drop stitch we have been able to develop a refined process to improve all aspects of board production.
Firstly we have removed the process of coating the inner thread section with molten PVC – for us this was a redundant process, as we had no interest in producing a single layer board which only served as a base to glue our outer/double layer to. It was also a messy process with very little control. Instead, we coat the thread structure in a layer of adhesive that has been specially formulated to create both a seal and a bonding layer. We then machine laminate a layer of high-density structural PVC to this adhesive layer under controlled conditions – completely removing the human factor involved in traditional double layer application.
This whole process is done at the raw material stage by carefully calibrated machinery developed for this process. The result is a consistent high-level cosmetic finish that has the durability and strength properties of our previous double layer construction. And because this process is done at the raw material stage we are now able to benefit from torsion stiffness as the material is put under tension when the board is inflated.
It all sounds simple but, like the best single malt whiskey or a finely-tuned engine, the components and method have needed to be refined over and over again until we created the ultimate blend of performance, quality and weight.
Adding MSL to our TecAir manufacturing process makes all our boards more durable and ensures they perform better. Our Patented RSS stiffening system adds even further rigidity when needed, making SUPs so tough that you can run a 22-tonne digger over them, no problem! What are the obvious benefits?
A SUPERB COSMETIC FINISH – All Red Paddle Co boards have an industry-leading cosmetic finish. No wrinkles or blemishes. The boards look cleaner and smoother and even feel better to the touch.
WEIGHT-SAVING BUT STABLE – All Red Paddle Co boards are up to 2kgs lighter than our previous double layer construction. But very importantly they are not too light. If a board is ultra-light it is more affected by wind and current while on the water. MSL boards have a reassuring lightweight feel.
STIFF AT LOWER PRESSURES – Due to the Torsion Stiffness effect all Red Paddle Co boards are stiffer at lower pressures compared to other products on the market. We recommend a pressure of between 16-22psi. Less pumping means more paddling.
ENHANCED DURABILITY – The multiple-layer coating of Red Paddle Co boards is tough and durable. With our third generation of MSL material now in use, our boards are more durable than ever.

TITAN II SUP PUMP
The Titan II Pump is the world’s first purpose-built, double chamber SUP pump. It’s designed to cut the amount of time and effort it takes to inflate your board by half. Constant innovation has led to us testing the absolute boundaries of inflation technology and as such, we’re confident that there’s nothing quite like the Titan II pump on the market.
The Dual Cylinder system, combined with the Hi Flo handle means you are in complete control of the energy used to inflate your board. It puts the volume into your board faster and reduces the effort required to reach a higher pressure.

TWIN IFIN
All boards in the Ride range are now integrated with two super durable, flexible iFins, making the boards straighter and faster to paddle than a three fin set-up. The iFins also provide increased agility and performance in the surf and make the board easier to pack down into its bag. No need for tools, spares or replacements, the iFins can take a beating and are super easy to reshape if they get bent.

No matter what your budget, style or preference – there is a paddle for everyone and it’s important to consider which one you choose as it will make a big difference on performance. Your paddle should be 6” taller than you so we have two adjuster types to make this easy for you. LeverLock’s patented technology allows you to make adjustments on the fly with one hand for maximum flexibility. The Camlock offers unrivalled grip to remove any movement or free play.
ACCESSORIES
Essential replacement parts and spares should you ever need them.
This includes a patch for the front and back of your board, (150mm x 150 mm), a valve tool and instructions all stored in a waterproof can.
LEASH
Leashes Save Lives.
When heading out on the water it is important to always securely attach the board to you using a safe and reliable leash. 8′ Coiled Touring Leash – Reduces drag in the water and offers a more compact leash option.
Safety Note: If paddling in river currents we advise wearing only a Personal Floatation Device or a waist leash to avoid snagging on obstacles and debris.
