Freshwater Bay hard boards are designed for both the serenity of flatwater paddling and the thrill of the surf. They are stable, fast and highly manoeuvrable; the ultimate ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ SUP.
Each Classic SUP design is available in 2 sizes; 9’11 x 31.5” 163L and 10’6 x 32” 177L. The 9’11 is slightly more manoeuvrable and responsive for lighter and/or more experienced riders, whereas the 10’6 is more stable and planted for heavier and/or less experienced riders.
These dimensions may seem similar to many ‘All-Round’ style paddleboards, but don’t let that fool you! While the boards are great for flatwater paddling, they also excel in the waves. Our 9’11 has become a bit of a cult classic, with riders including a former British Longboard Surfing Champion, and the Editor of SUPMag UK!

- • Freshwater Bay Paddleboard Co. Classic SUP – 9’11 or 10’6
- • Classic SUP Padded Board Bag – Cool Grey 600D hard-wearing Oxford fabric and 6mm EPE foam padding, coupled with silver reflective material to deflect the sun’s rays and help keep the board cool and protected. Features a Velcro fin slot on the base, a carry handle, and a shoulder strap.
- • Matt Carbon Fibre Adjustable SUP Paddle – With a 94 in² blade and an 8° blade/rake angle, it’s perfect for both flat water and surfing. Constructed using the highest quality materials. CNC shaped high-density foam core, 3K Toray Japanese carbon fibre. A blue ABS resin blade edge stops scuffing and protects your board. The adjustable length shaft has an anti-twist locking mechanism to keep it in place. This paddle is the perfect combination of weight and strength, and even comes with its own padded paddle bag.

- • Coiled Leash – 8mm thick and 10ft in extended length

Our goal has always been to make Freshwater Bay Paddleboards the best boards possible, regardless of expense. Quality starts with the right attitude, and we only work with manufacturers that share our attitude; the boards have to made right, every time!
The best hard boards start with a great shape. Once you have the right shape, you need the right materials. We’ve spent a lot of time testing and refining our construction process to get the best combination of weight and strength.
Each of our Freshwater Bay hard SUPs comprises our standard high-density 20KG/M3 EPS foam core with wood laminate fibreglass sandwich construction – even on the painted boards where you can’t see the wood. Our hard SUPs also feature Carbon Fibre in the standing area, and Kevlar wrapped rails, nose and tail for extra protection.
And, with a GoPro mount as standard you can share those beautiful moments on the water.
